[Qemu-devel] Long delay on bootup of debian upon disk access

Hi all,

I'm trying to get debian up and running on qemu, and I'm finding an incredible 
slowdown upon reboot (after the initial install from cd) upon detecting the 
harddisk. Ie: just after the whole E-IDE bit where hdc, hdd are identified.

Is this a known issue? I know the linux-test.img didn't experience the same 
problem..
