I couldn't find the google group you created, nor a link to it at the
qemu page linked above. I simply use nntp://news.gmane.org as an
interface to the list, with the added convenience of auto-expiring old
articles, I have absolutely no issue with working this way.
I'm not sure, even for a project in development, that we should base a
large part of our communication on a service that is still in beta.
Based on feedback, Google could change the service adversely, or
(unlikely) axe the idea altogether. All a small project needs is a big
uprooting.
I do, OTOH, observe the slowness of Savannah's delivery daily, and it
could be an irritation if this list grows much more.
