I didn’t have quite as much free time as I anticipated, but I will try and throw together some docs this week.  I will start with the Generic class and will post it here when I am done to make sure I am doing it right.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matthew,

I think that the basic classes design we've discussed so far is fine now. What I would like is having a documentation on them, in order to integrate it into the specification docs. This documentation should describe the class role and their public method description (parameters, returned value).

If you don't worry about writing doc - I know, developpers doesn't like that ;-)- then you can start on this. If not, I'll do that next week (I'm busy this week-end).

Another subject you can work on is defining (and coding of cours) classes for:
- Downloading files from FTP server
- Perform a backup of a folder with the "tar" command
- Downlaod content of a web site (HTML pages + pictures)

All those nice stuff we would like PyAtCron provides to the user.

Think about inherit those classes from the GenericTask one

Have a nice week-end,

Xavier

I’ve got a little free time this weekend so what needs to be done?  I haven’t heard anything on the list today, so I’m assuming everyone is just busy or maybe there is a problem with it.  I’m assuming we have the class-diagram where we need it to start on the basic classes, going by the one Julien submitted on Wednesday.  I think Brian is working on modifying his original classes to look like the diagram, so Brian, if you need anything let me know.  I don’t want to start working on something that you already have done.

Xavier, are you comfortable with us starting on the classes?  Or is there something more that needs to be done documentation wise?  Just let me know what needs to be done.

Thanks,
Matt
