You need to install a compiler. On Cygwin you do this from the setup.exe
program. Under '+Devel' select 'gcc:'. To build the documentation, you'll
need Texinfo, which is under '+Doc'. There's numerous other things that
you will probably need --- Cygwin has them all except libplot (which is
optional). See the INSTALL file in the PSPP distribution for details.

wouldent do the 'make' bit as cygwin complained that it didnt have a
compiler (or something).... I;m probably doing something wrong... any
idea
how I get any further?
