Hi Alan, yes I did run the t-test.sps from the examples. But there were many 
funny characters in the tables - not difficult to spot them. What I also 
noticed is that when I run the t-test.sps for the first time, then psppire 
complains about dataset not set. I had to put a newline after the comment 
before the first pspp codeline.
