I encountered the same error. It appears to be caused by commit
750c179b57ee8ea522f599fa5ea1efb31ba0b31e, which stopped passing -o y.tab.c to
bison to tell it to use yacc compatible filenames. The change to gl_PROG_BISON
made it stop providing this option. See
