Hiho,
I have just written a little proof-of-concept CVS build script, which
automatically downloads Hermes, ClanLib and Pingus, compiles them and
install them in a custom location:
cvs_build.sh
Description: Pingus CVS build script
The location is currently hardcoded in the script and some options to
skip an update of ClanLib and Hermes would be nice, but in generall
this thing seems to work and could make life a bit more easier for
people without lots of Unix knowlegde who want to get an up-to-date
Pingus up and running.
The final usage might look something like this:
$ sh pingus-cvs-build --skip-hermes --skip-clanlib --prefix=/tmp/pingus
[...]
Any comments? Anybody around who would like to finish this?
