http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=5715&group_id=509
Submitted by: cw Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Fri 10/03/03 at 09:49
Category: API - phpGWapi Bug Group: 0.9.16RC1
Severity: 9 - Critical Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: skwashd
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: None Reproducibility: None
Summary: new install wants to upgrade a different install
Original Submission: - db user has access another phpgw install
- in setup specify a database that doesn't exsist for the new install to use
- mysql login is ok, select_db fails
- phpgw setup somehow gets pointed to the other database and insists that it
can upgrade
Patch for fix:
http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/index.php?func=detailpatch&patch_id=2000&group_id=509
add a $this->disconnect(); to the select_db failure so that setup knows it
needs to create a db.
