try this on the command line:
> mysql -u phpgroupware -p phpgroupware
when prompted input the password you set in you header.inc.php for the phpgw db
user
If you can't connect then you have not setup your db properly - please check
this doc http://free-source.com/files/phpgw-howto.html

Apache error log reports:
PHP Warning: Access denied for user: 'address@hidden' (Using password: YES) in
c:foxservwwwphpgroupwarephpgwapiincclass.db_mysql.inc.php on line 90
That line in that file reads:
$this->Link_ID=mysql_pconnect($Host, $User, $Password);
I gather somehow the config file is not passing the appropiate parameters.
