This is by design.
I've found that most people usually use this feature with a
secretary/receptionist, and they can continually keep the free/busy list open
so as not to interupt their normal operations. The free/busy list will allow
them to click refresh to continually get up to date information in a matter of
seconds.
Thanks,

Submitted by: pkt Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-May-07 18:02
Category: calendar Bug Group: 0.9.14 RC3
Severity: 1 - Ordinary Priority: Normal
Resolution: None Assigned to: skeeter
Status: Open Platform Version: Linux - RedHat
Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Bug or intentional: New window opens in Daily Matrix View: Free/Busy
Original Submission: In I.E., in the Daily Matrix View, when you look at the
Free/Busy page (by clicking Submit), it opens a new browser session with the
resulting page. The bad thing that does is it leaves an open session in the
background and if the user logs out of the subsequent window, his account is
still open in the other Window. Is that intentional or a work in progress to
correct?
Thanks again for the awesome work!
[side note: I tried submitting this earlier but my network connection got
interrupted and wasn't sure if it got thru so please excuse if a double
submission.]

follow up: I didn't intended to submit this with as high a severity level.
Please excuse the oversight. This really is just a Normal severity level.
Thanks.
