I believe you are misinterpreting the text, Hub.

It means that you can't add another profile to the collection AND STILL
call it the "Adobe Profile Collection" (or whatever).  You must also
include all of our profiles, not just some.

You can most certainly add additional profiles or other software
components, and call it "Hub's Profile Collection containing the Adobe
Profiles", but our collection must remain logically intact.

I don't see this as any different than a font developer saying that you
have to include all the various weights of the fonts.

I think you're looking for problems where none exist.  While we may not
use the same exact license text as "free software", we are certainly
trying to ensure that these profiles (and CMaps and ....) can be used in
that "market".

Oops, my bad, but....

That mean you can't merge the package with another. That means you can't
ship it as part of your application. That itself is NOT compatible with
the principles of Free Software.
