Ah, good point, uname! I obtained the version I reported from the cygwin.exe file properties. The version I get through uname is

$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-10.0 hostname 3.0.6(0.338/5/3) 2019-04-06 16:18 x86_64 Cygwin
