Warning: Semaphore stuck for 30 seconds

Hi all,

i'm running parallel on a single cluster node of a linux cluster, the
homes are shared between the nodes from a server machine.
i have installed parallel just on one node and i use is without any
problem till i have installed parallel on a second node of the
cluster.
The error messages that sometimes block the production of the output is:

parallel: Warning: Semaphore stuck for 30 seconds. Consider using
--semaphoretimeout.

i think that the problem come from the hidden directory in the shared
home of the cluster:

.parallel

the is any way to move this directory in a different position?
