Yes, it does. Many 2.4 GHz receivers can be configured to output a PPM signal. If they don't support it you can still use an encoder that will take the servo signals and mix them into one PPM signal.

CAUTION! This is only used for PPM transmitters so it does not apply to DSM/DSM2/FASST/FHSS or other 2.4Ghz radios.
