all non-flash u-blox modules need either an extra EEPROM on board (not added by
you) or the gps_ubx_center.xml module for a configuration at bootup.

The u-blox specifications (currently) say that some series 7 can do up to 10Hz
(e.g. MAX-7Q). Series 6 can mostly do 5Hz with the ROM versions (e.g. NEO-6M) or
2Hz for the flash versions (e.g. NEO-6H). To be sure you have to look it up...
