Hi.
I tried several times in the recent past and i did gave it a go a few minutes ago:

address@hidden:~/paparazzi$ sudo cp conf/system/udev/rules/50-paparazzi.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
[sudo] password for hendrix:
address@hidden:~/paparazzi$ sudo adduser hendrix plugdev
The user `hendrix' is already a member of `plugdev'.
address@hidden:~/paparazzi$ sudo adduser hendrix dialout
The user `hendrix' is already a member of `dialout'.
address@hidden:~/paparazzi$

RESULTS:

RUN '/home/hendrix/paparazzi/sw/simulator/launchsitl -a Cessna_182 -t sim --boot --norc' RUN '/home/hendrix/paparazzi/sw/ground_segment/cockpit/gcs -speech -layout my_gcs_layout.xml '
RUN '/home/hendrix/paparazzi/sw/ground_segment/tmtc/server -n'
Failed to connect to Speech Dispatcher:
Error: Can't connect to unix socket /home/hendrix/.speech-dispatcher/speechd.sock: Permission denied. Autospawn: Autospawn failed. Speech Dispatcher refused to start with error code, stating this as a reason: Can't create pid file in /home/hendrix/.speech-dispatcher/pid/speech-dispatcher.pid, wrong permissions?

DONE '/home/hendrix/paparazzi/sw/ground_segment/cockpit/gcs -speech -layout my_gcs_layout.xml'

Except from the speech i can't upload ap code for stm32 as a regular user but i can upload ap code perfecty to the LPCs
It is probably something simple but i am not an Ubuntu guru :-[

Did you copy the paparazzi udev rules? And are you a member of the plugdev
group?
There is a page in the wiki about setting up udev rules, unfortunately it
seem to be down again right now...

Cheers, Felix
