Hi Heinrich

It was just a quick test of a few seconds with a huge 18650 Li-Ion Battery 
providing a voltage of 3.2V. The only purpose was to confirm the possibility of 
using a battery before writing the mail.
Since the GS407 doesn't have a dedicated battery holder, glueing a (small) 
battery on the receiver would leave me with the feeling of a quick and dirty 
hack.
Your experience reconfirms me in trying to configure the receiver via paparazzi.
