I don't know enough about macports to help with that error unfortnately, maybe someone more knowledgeable can help.

IMHO after using both a macports install and a binary install, I can say that using the binary is easier and faster to keep up to date than the macports install. The ocaml and some other libraries are a pain to keep in working order on macports, and the compile time for the huge number of dependencies is far greater than the download time of the dmg image.

hello, Stephen Dwyer .thanks for your help. I still gets the errors after that I have removed macports and reinstalled everything. It seems like that the problem is caused by something about network or network settings. It has been successfully installed something before it says:"Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: /Applications/MacPorts/Python 2.7/Build "
I wanna install paparazzi from macports so that I can update it conveniently.
