Defnitely we understand the spectrum satellite output format. So yes we can get 
the signal to the receiver but then the logic within the receiver will pick the 
best signal given by least errors and signal strength.

I suppose we could use a gpio to purposely pull low the signal line from the 
main receivers RF module thus corrupting its signal (when you open the main 
receiver you can see the RF module is the same as those in the spectrum) this 
should force the receiver to use the data from the satellite input (i.e. output 
from twog).

I am not sure if this helps.

There is another alternative JR make a main receiver that has no internal 
receivers but can take as many as 4 satellites this would be easy to do the 
above with and requires no hacking of the main receiver.
