Sounds like maybe you have some mixing configured in your transmitter?

Not sure what transmitter you are using but if you have a screen where
you can monitor the output channels you should check that to see if
there is mixing being done before the data is sent to pprz.

I'd suggest trying out the xbee, having telemetry available will make
troubleshooting a lot easier.
