Hi everyone,
i plan to build a quadcopter. The far target will be a quad with a
payload of 0.5 to 1kg, but i want to start small. To start with, I can
use the airframe of an x-ufo to start learning.
Now I am unsure about the autopilot that would be best. As I see it,
there are basicaly 3 options:
- - Booz
- - Umarim
- - Lisa/M with Aspirin
Booz i think is to expensive, and the gyros are not available easily
any more (?) and hard to solder, as they are BGA components.
Umarim is missing a 3D-magnetometer
So Lisa/M with Aspirin would be the best possibility at the moment, I
think. What do you think?
And some question to the Lisa/M and Aspirin boards:
Is it true that both are 2 layer pcb's? Aspirin defines two internal
layers, but without any traces on it.
Regarding Lisa/M: somehow, I can't find the layout for the
perpendicular servo connection board.
Thanks a lot, regards, Edi
