Only one option (either 3.3V on gps or rs232 +/-9V on xsens header) can be used at the time. Both are connected to uart0 of the LPC.

Does this mean that only one or the other will function if the resistor is in place or removed? In my case I will be using the GPS header, does this mean I _have_ to remove R1?
