Hi,In order to use the plugins, you need to add a plugin window in the xml layout and launch the gcs with -plugin "prog to exec" option. The program you want to execute need to accept an option to embed the window (socket) into an other. For example, gcs -layout <some layout with plugin widget>.xml -plugin "gvim --socketid " will launch gvim in your gcs (ok, that's not really useful...)

I have been trying very quickly the plugin option and didn't have success so far, but it would be indeed the easiest way...I tried that as well before I mentioned it. And failed as well. But I think I know why, the plugin window needs to be defined in the layout XML. If you don't do that it won't find the widget in which to place it. Or at least that is how it made sense to me. :) Regards Tilman Baumann _______________________________________________ Paparazzi-devel mailing list address@hidden http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/paparazzi-devel
