Hi Tobi,

there might be some more dependencies that are not included in a
default ubuntu install. I would be happy to add these to the wiki if I
knew wich ones...
I didn't need any others but already have a lot of stuff installed
from different projects.
If you can post what exactly is going wrong we can figure it out.

Also I think we are going to package jsbsim soon so you don't need to
get the latest version from cvs (which might be broken if you are
unlucky).

Cheers, Felix

Hello,

What doesn't work exactly during your installation ?
For the example file, don't look malolo_sim.xml, it's an old version. Use
jsbsim.xml instead.

Hi guys,

thanks a lot for your hinds with the simulation model! Somehow I missed
this option completely... but I really like to change my simulation model
to the JSBSim. I spend some nights now on trying to get it work but as
always it seems to be easier than it actually is. So I do have probably more
questions then before.
I started downloading the JSBSim and tried to compile it - should be that
easy
  svn co svn://svn.savannah.nongnu.org/paparazzi/paparazzi3/trunk
paparazzi3
sudo apt-get install paparazzi-dev libtool
  cvs -z3 -d:pserver:address@hidden:/cvsroot/jsbsim
co -P JSBSim cd JSBSim
  ./autogen.sh
  ./configure --enable-libraries --enable-shared --prefix=/opt/jsbsim
  make
  sudo make install

got it out of this link :
http://paparazzi.enac.fr/w/index.php?title=BoozSimulator

but of course it s not .... So I guess there is a lot missing in my
ubuntu. I m familiar with writing fight control loops not with linux so any
help appreciated! I tried everything I found in the internet to get it
work!!!
So I just went back to the beginning and start from scratch. Could anyone
help me getting this simulator to work, please.

I m using Ubuntu which I installed from the paparazzi live CD never had a
problem before with that distribution.

Another thing I wondering about is that the example airframe file
(malolo_sim.xml) looks so different in the makefile section than those lines
Felix put into the wiki.
But thats probably a little to fast since I will need the Simulator
first...

Thanks a lot in advance!
Tobi
