Hi All Yesterday I finally managed to fix my airplane after my last incident and began to reinstall the Tiny. When everything was connected and I had wrapped the board in some foam I thought I should test everything before the final installation. I had everything tested OK outside of the plane the day before. But this time when I connected the battery a very bad sound was heard from the Tiny. It sounded like a very bad short cut! I immediately disconnected the battery and tried to see if anything was burnt but I cannot find anything that looks broken. I tried one more time to connect the battery but this time nothing happens. The thing is dead! :-( After I while I decide to try to locate the fault. I think it looks now like the power supply, the PTH08080WAH module, is broken. When there is power connected to it it does not give me +5V on the output pin. I should be able to just measure on the output pin against ground, right? The question for you guys now is if it possible to change that module? Of course it is possible but I mean more if you think it possible that the rest of Tiny has survived and that the module is the only thing broken? Is it worth a try?
