it is installed with a prop-saver and a rubber ring to move out of the
way during landing. We used this big prop to get a lot of thrust for
easy take off and good climb rate to reach high altitudes fast. No
motor, prop or rubber was damaged in severel hundred meteorological
flights so far. Your maximum speed is not as high as with a smaller
prop.

And it sounds much faster with a small prop.
