u a right,the paparazzi-avr may not install,sometimes u need root privileges,ie vi /etc/apt/sources.list ,so i do,man always hope have more privileges :) : 1.sudo su - (-------switch root) 2. visudo 3.if your loginname is 'asksunshine' ,add: asksunshine ALL=(ALL) ALL (-------means let common user 'asksunshine' do everything as root) Date: Tue, 9 Sep 2008 20:55:44 -0600 From: address@hidden To: address@hidden Subject: Re: [Paparazzi-devel] Installation Problems using Ubuntu 8.04 The only difference in this guide i would recommend is to not install paparazzi-avr and not use the sudo command for the cvs command. The reason for the first is because you will not be flashing any avr chips with the modern paparazzi system..
