Hello everybody,
I think this is a good place to say hello to the community.
So far, I have done two years of - more or less successful - RC flying.
If anyone likes to know what I have been doing so far, here is my blog (in
German): http://modellflug-martinpi.blogspot.com/
and here is my homepage: http://home.pages.at/martinpi
I work as a firmware developer for rail vehicles.
I am not so much interested in aerial photography or video (although I have
done it a bit) but mainly in the fascination of making a model fly on its own.
I think I would start with a "well-behaved" aircraft like my MiniMag rather
than anything more agile like the FunJet.
I am not i a hurry to get started.
I wonder if it would help to get a (wheeled) robot for gaining some experience
before attempting to control an aircraft - which I only recently mastered to do
manually.
Martin
