Hi Uttam,

to get a ground station box, you want to
 - Or use the live CD: you won't install anything on your hard disk and you will
need a USB pendrive to store your data. It is not a recommended way for the long
term.
 - Either install the Linux OS. We highly recommend the Debian distribution (the
stable one is called etch) or the last Ubuntu (7.10, Gutsy) which is a bit
easier to install and works fine with Paparazzi. Follow the instructions from
the wiki to install the Paparazzi packages.
I think you want to use the cvs source code to get an up to date version (i.e.
do not install the paparazzi-bin package and get the source from savannah).

The Live CD runs old code now. I would like to find time to build a new one
asap.
