Hi, i have made a similar algorithm, but it's not fast (5-10ms).
Maybe the servo coprocessor can perform it ?
Maybe a more convenient alg. can be adding the WP along the line and
making a searche of the type: nearest-WP. If one beyond the line is found,
disable the throttle.
