Hello,
I've looked on the FAQ about problems posting messages. I've updated to
pan 0.14.0.93. I can post normal messages to groups but when I use the
editor and read in the binary uuencoded message it doesn't seem to work.
Here are the steps I followed:
open new posting.
click on editor
used :r to read in uuencoded file.
used :wq to exit editor
typed subject line.
click on post now.
Message I get back is:
pan - Usenet posting failed. Check Tools|Log Viewer for more
information. Your message was saved in the folder "pan.sendlater"
GLib - giounix.c:397Error while getting flags for FD: Bad file
descriptor (9)
GLib - Invalid file descriptor.
I tried using it from the command line also.
Running Mandrake-9.1.
Any ideas?
