Yeah, it's some interaction between the two. Heinrich wrote the code to 
make sure they both can't be on at the same time (otherwise one would get 
no matching articles) and I'm hoping he knows how to fix it :)

Yuck! I don't think I've ever encountered this; and that's a nasty, if not 
clever, workaround.
