I'll try distcheck under 7.3 for some apps whose config is similar to ours
and see what happens.  If they succeed, I'll compare our configure/Makefiles
and see if anything jumps out.

If it's not cleared up in a couple of days when I want to release 0.11.94,
then you can roll the tarball. ;)
