It's nice to see the aureal driver has been merged
upstream finally. Many thanks to Manuel and Jeff.

It works fine for me for my everyday use, except for
a few glitches in midi:
* The alsamixer lists the external-midi as "video".
* "Sticky notes" problem which I reported on 13 june
  is still present. Briefly, it is this: Do a
  "playmidi -e passport.mid", let it play about 10 secs
  or some and then press ctrl-c. You'll have the last
  note playing continuously. I could stop it by stopping
  all the alsa serveces and then restarting. This is with
  an old creative wave blaster2 card on an MX300.
  Don't know if it's an alsa problem or vortex driver's own.
