I changed it to this, and it ceases to crash! Yeah!  :-D  However,
trying to do a modprobe snd-seq-oss doesn't work.  :-/

I've also got PCM playback working now--stupid mistake. I forgot to
modprobe snd-pcm-oss to get my mixer device loaded. But now Noatun
works quite nicely.  :-)

The thing I can't figure out is why KDE can't seem to find the midi
port, when sndstat reports that it's there:

Midi devices:
0: MPU-401 (UART) 0-0
