@Philip thank you very much for your feedback. I have made the required
changes in code style (at least to the best of my understanding).
Also thanks for pointing out the CRLF / LF difference, somehow my octave
editor has been saving all my m files in a windows style despite eos LF being
selected in the preferences (or perhaps not in the past). Nevertheless, I have
never noticed, so thanks! :)
Please, let me know if any other changes should be made. I have no experience
in code collaboration and I can barely use git to update my github repos I use
for my science projects. Thus, I am not very familiar with code styles or
Mercurial csets. I have attached a patch file with the diff command, which I
hope is ok.
@Mike thanks for updating the title of the patch. I realized a bit late about
its appropriate format and I couldn't find a way to correct it.
