Follow-up Comment #1, patch #9675 (project octave):
I updated mxe-octave to hg id 68b3f1ccccac and ran the following in my
existing mxe-octave directory:
make clean
autoconf
./configure --enable-devel-tools --enable-windows-64 --enable-octave=default
--enable-binary-packages --with-pkg-dir=../mxe-octave-pkg --with-ccache
--disable-system-opengl --enable-qt5
make all 7z-dist JOBS=3
When running the test suite on Windows 10, I get lots and lots of the
following output:
Der Befehl "perl" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder
konnte nicht gefunden werden.
That translates to something like: "The command "perl" is either spelled
incorrectly or could not be found."
Indeed there is no "perl.exe" in the mingw64/bin directory.
We might need to also install perl from msys2.
