This is basically a drive-by code dump. What we want are packages that are
going to be continually maintained by contributors who are active in the
Octave community.

Fredy, if you are interested in maintaining this package within the Octave
community, or if someone else is interested in adopting this code and
maintaining it, then it may be turned into a useful part of Octave Forge.

If there is no interest in doing so, then this should just be closed as "wont
do" (but of course will be archived and is searchable for the future).
