I just use the tools that rubygems installed on my machine. Some special
versions or features (except for Jekyll 3.3) are not required to my
knowledge. My kramdown is
$ gem which kramdown
/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/2.2.0/gems/kramdown-1.13.1/lib/kramdown.rb
Here I am also not away of certain changes between the previous versions of
that tool.
