Is mpi.h really needed by signal ?
"pkg-config" aim is to solve this kind of issue; but the latest release was
in July 2013, and the mailing lists are ... not very active. It has a
successor called pkgconf In both case, there is a middle-term risk of seeing
their support stopping.
