Hi Chris

we find the best way to get involved in the community is to work on
the things that actual matter to you. So if you're using Octave, what
are your itches to scratch?

Still, see the "get involved" page [1] which even has a link for a
page with projects of different sizes. You can also get involved with
one of the many Octave Forge packages, whichever is related to your
area of interest.
