Oh, finally. I had scavenged everywhere for a nightly, only to eventually find
out they just built stable. 

Anyhow, as far as this bug is concerned removal of old PTB versions works fine
now (ironically enough it's basically the only functionality not broken atm..
but that's on them to fix). 

If you have still some time left though, I'd exhort you to check out why this
process is letting warnings to print when it shouldn't

This problem has been fixed in the stable version. The fix will
be available in the next minor software release. Thank you for
