Details:
(brought over from bug #60469 where it lay unnoticed for almost 3 months)
If some piece of code, selected using F9 in the editor, contains syntax or
other errors, Octave emits relevant error messages but with wrong line
numbers. Similarly for warnings.
In fact the line number(s) in the temporary file used by F9 are echoed in the
error message, rather than the line numbers of the file in the editor.
