Follow-up Comment #2, bug #62075 (project octave):
I don't know particularly why it would be a problem now. Maybe there is a
difference between Texinfo versions as well. I have Texinfo v6.5 which might
be stricter about how macros are expanded.
Just for a test, I edited ls.m which is in core Octave and I added a space
between "@seealso" and '{' and it throws an error when I try "help ls". The
conclusion is that this isn't anything special about this being a function
from a package.
