Follow-up Comment #35, bug #60273 (project octave):

What is Octave's general position on the use of reference BLAS versus
OpenBLAS?  The BIST tests pass with the canonical reference BLAS, and results
are inferior with OpenBLAS.  Do we say internally that both libraries are
supported and just relax the tolerances, by about 50 eps, necessary for these
tests to pass?  Should we have a general comment in the documentation and
installation procedures about the difference between the two libraries?  For
example, "If you need more accuracy we recommend reference BLAS library, but
if performance is more important then OpenBLAS is recommended"
