URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61404> Summary: Re-directing to stdout doesn't work correctly with rsvg-convert 2.52 on Windows Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mmuetzel Submitted on: Sat 30 Oct 2021 01:02:45 PM CEST Category: Configuration and Build System Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Build Failure Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: dev Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: rsvg-convert was ported to Rust in version 2.52. It looks like this somehow caused troubles when re-directing stdout on Windows. See also: https://github.com/msys2/MINGW-packages/issues/9906 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/librsvg/-/issues/812 It is still working when the output file is specified with the "-o" option. I'll push a change to the build rules to use the "-o" option instead of re-directing stdout when creating the images of the application icon as soon as I have a bug number. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61404> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
