URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61278> Summary: Parallel forge "could not save variable" warning Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Mon 04 Oct 2021 12:21:58 PM UTC Category: Octave Forge Package Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Unexpected Error or Warning Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 6.1.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi When calling pararrayfun () I often get the message 'could not save variable'. I wonder what this means. Could it be an addpath statement? Secondly, I wonder if the message can be made more clear. What variable is not saved? It is also not obvious that parallel produced the error. Annoyingly the message does not occur all the time, and the results seem fine even if the message is produced. On the first run after starting OCtave it is typically fine. Details: version 6.1.1~hg.2021.01.26 parallel *| 4.0.1 _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61278> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
