Of course I can change my code, and I knew how to do it. But my point was FYI.
Often I receive others code (written for matlab), which takes time to adapt,
without speaking of the many examples around made for matlab.

Hence my question, do you try to be as close as possible to matlab or not ?

I guess it is hard to change now the default behavior of 'step' or 'sgrid' ;
but maybe you can propose a flag such as 'matlab compatible' ?
