Follow-up Comment #5:

The attached file 'sample.ods' can't be opened with any of the COM (= Excel),
UNO (=LibreOffice), JOD and/or OCT interfaces.
Can you provide a better .ods file, please?

In the mean time I'll try to proceed with guitar2data.ods from bug #53298, but
that's a rather complicated file judging by the nr. of declared ranges.
