Details:

When shutting down Octave GUI with an open, modified editor file a dialog pops
up asking whether the changes should be discarded, saved or whether exiting
should be canceled. When choosing "save", octave hangs with 100% CPU and
killing octave leaves an *empty file* even if the file was not empty before
the modifications.
